Individuals:
Our first planning meeting has been rescheduled for March 10,
2010 from 5 PM – 7 PM at YSU in
Bliss Hall in the Bliss Recital Hall.
Free parking will be available across the street at the Butler Institute of
American Art.
Whether you have attended all the
previous sessions or this will be your very first, all are welcome to come
and participate!

The focus of this meeting will be the two main issues that surfaced at the previous meeting:
1. Advocacy / Arts Council
2. Public Support / Public Policy Our goal will be to delve further into these two areas to help shape our next steps.

Participants in The Power of the Arts series for artists and arts and cultural organizations explored these questions and more. They engaged in an open exchange with leaders in the arts, cultural, and economic development fields in an attempt to define the role of the arts and culture in our region.
